These are priced very nicely for the amount of value you get. I installed them with a solar panel, were super easy to install, and with the remote it's such a game changer rolling them up and down. Overall highly recommended.
These Roman shades look great in our home, and the smart functionality with Matter over Thread has worked reliably since we installed them. We were able to automate our shades in a meaningful way to improve glare, heat, and privacy... and the design element is really fantastic. These have a broad design appeal.

What we ordered is what we received in a timely fashion the shade seems very well built we actually are using it as a transitional wall between our bathroom slash laundry room and it works perfectly and was very easy to install
So happy I got these for my large living room windows! I only wish I would've done the lower blackout level since the see through part is not as translucent, especially on cloudy days.
I am very pleased with the roller shades I purchased and even more with the company. I was concerned with gaps because I had to join three shades together. The company worked with me to make sure there were minimal gaps. Great company and beautiful shades. Very classy.
The Matter motor makes these extremely flexible for automation in my combo home theater/home office. Using a projector requires full blackout, but I like to have natural light when I'm working at the computer during the day. These blinds make it effortless to have both. Programming auto open/close at sunrise/sunset with HomeKit and integrating them into the full home theater automation with Home Assistant for daytime game watching was a snap. Adding smart shades to the theater has been on my list for a few years, but I'm glad I waited for the SmartWave shades and their Matter-controlled motors for ease and flexibility.
I'm very impressed, they are much higher quality, quieter operation and faster than my older units here, especially Ikea.
The blinds arrived in the best packaging I’ve ever seen . They installed easily and function great. They look and feel high quality . For the price they are a superior value. We ordered three as a test and now will order more for the remaining windows in our house.
The blinds in Roman shades are wonderful and I am learning how to program them so we can raise and lower them from remote locations. The customer support is absolutely 10 out of 10 and you won’t be disappointed in the product which is a great value.
As a Home Assistant user and smart home enthusiast I can wholeheartedly recommend SmartWave shades. These were easy to install, feel very well made, and are QUIET. The Matter connection has been rock solid and the home assistant integration has stable and responsive for months. I will absolutely be getting more for every room!

Installation and setup of our blackout honeycomb blinds was straightforward. Only I had to remove them to scan the matter code and bring them closer to Alexa to pair. Fit was good.

Regarding the scanning process, we appreciate your feedback! Just a small tip for future reference: the Matter code you scanned by removing the shade is actually a backup code located on the valance. There is a much more convenient QR code on the underside of the bottom rail (as also noted in the instruction manual), which allows you to scan and pair directly without needing to take the shades down.

I have been shopping around for smart blinds/shades for a while. I wanted something that supported Apple Home for automation. I shopped the higher end stuff and it was ridiculously expensive for my large-ish windows. I'm talking $3,000-$4,000 per shade/blind. I took a chance on the SmartWave after doing a little research and buying the fabric sample kits. I did the measurements myself and ordered one for my bedroom with 100% blackout. My large shade ended up being like $500 with the options I selected. It came in like two weeks. Install was super simple. Pairing with Apple Home Kit was super simple. Came with a 15' USBC charging cable. I mounted the switch next to the window but voice commands via Siri (despite Siri being terrible!) work well and my automation to open/close morning and night worked easily. I'm now ordering for other windows.
These are so cool, I love them. I will probably have to charge them all the time because they are so fun to watch changing configurations.
