I love these cellular shades. The physical installation was extremely easy, and they look really nice and feel high-quality.
What really sold me is that they support Matter over Thread, so I can run them directly through Home Assistant. I have them completely automated now. They go up in the morning and down at night automatically. I don't even use the included remotes because I programmed my Z-Wave scene controller to manage them instead. The movement up and down is very smooth, and while they make a little bit of noise, they are relatively quiet.
My only minor issue was that the instructions were a bit confusing. They list multiple setup methods, and it took me a while to figure out which one applied to my specific model. I'm not taking any points off for that, though, since others might find it easier.
Overall, they're great. If I decide to get shades for another room, I'm definitely buying from Smartwave again.
Great product. It took me a while to figure out what Matter over Thread was but once I bought MoT wall plugs to extend the network in my 2400 sq ft home everything worked as it should. I'll be buying more shades in the future.
Very easy to order, do recommend checking your measurements twice ( I ended up doing it 3 times). Very happy with the product and love it works with Alexa.
These are priced very nicely for the amount of value you get. I installed them with a solar panel, were super easy to install, and with the remote it's such a game changer rolling them up and down. Overall highly recommended.
These Roman shades look great in our home, and the smart functionality with Matter over Thread has worked reliably since we installed them. We were able to automate our shades in a meaningful way to improve glare, heat, and privacy... and the design element is really fantastic. These have a broad design appeal.

What we ordered is what we received in a timely fashion the shade seems very well built we actually are using it as a transitional wall between our bathroom slash laundry room and it works perfectly and was very easy to install
So happy I got these for my large living room windows! I only wish I would've done the lower blackout level since the see through part is not as translucent, especially on cloudy days.
I am very pleased with the roller shades I purchased and even more with the company. I was concerned with gaps because I had to join three shades together. The company worked with me to make sure there were minimal gaps. Great company and beautiful shades. Very classy.
The Matter motor makes these extremely flexible for automation in my combo home theater/home office. Using a projector requires full blackout, but I like to have natural light when I'm working at the computer during the day. These blinds make it effortless to have both. Programming auto open/close at sunrise/sunset with HomeKit and integrating them into the full home theater automation with Home Assistant for daytime game watching was a snap. Adding smart shades to the theater has been on my list for a few years, but I'm glad I waited for the SmartWave shades and their Matter-controlled motors for ease and flexibility.
I'm very impressed, they are much higher quality, quieter operation and faster than my older units here, especially Ikea.
The blinds arrived in the best packaging I’ve ever seen . They installed easily and function great. They look and feel high quality . For the price they are a superior value. We ordered three as a test and now will order more for the remaining windows in our house.
The blinds in Roman shades are wonderful and I am learning how to program them so we can raise and lower them from remote locations. The customer support is absolutely 10 out of 10 and you won’t be disappointed in the product which is a great value.
These were the most affordable motorized shades I could find in my search. They are reliable, easy to connect to my Google Home, and work great! I’ve been absolutely loving these. Highly recommend you also get the solar panels, it’s worth the money of not having power cords running everywhere. Best home upgrade I’ve purchased!
As a Home Assistant user and smart home enthusiast I can wholeheartedly recommend SmartWave shades. These were easy to install, feel very well made, and are QUIET. The Matter connection has been rock solid and the home assistant integration has stable and responsive for months. I will absolutely be getting more for every room!

I am happy with my motorized drapes. They arrived on time in good shape. The instructions were very clear and the installation was easy. The only issue was the motor was not on the side I requested but I picked it at random anyway.
