How to Adjust When the Fabric Rubs Against the End Caps

If the fabric rubs against the end caps, follow these steps to ensure smooth operation:

Step 1: Lower the Shades to the Bottom Position

Use the remote control to lower the shades to their bottom limit. This reduces the amount of fabric on the roller, making adjustments easier.

Step 2: Adjust the Fabric Position

Gently pull the fabric toward the side with the larger gap to align it properly. If the fabric is difficult to move, proceed to the next step.

Step 3: Remove Excess Fabric from the Roller

If the fabric cannot be moved, there may still be 1-2 wraps of excess fabric on the roller. Follow these steps to adjust the bottom limit:

  1. Press and hold the "UP" and "DOWN" buttons on the remote control simultaneously for about 2 seconds. The shades will jog up and down once, and the indicator light will turn orange and start flashing.
  2. Use the remote control to slowly lower the shades until there is no excess fabric on the roller. Then gently pull the fabric on the side with the larger gap to adjust it to the correct position.

Step 4: Restore the Bottom Limit Settings

After adjusting the fabric, reset the bottom limit to its original position:

  1. Use the remote control to move the shades to the desired bottom limit.
  2. Press and hold the "STOP" button on the remote control for about 2 seconds. The shades will jog up and down once, the orange indicator light will turn off, and the green light will flash 5 times, indicating the bottom limit is set.

After completing these steps, the shades should operate smoothly, and the fabric should no longer rub against the end caps.
