Below are the standard size specifications for roman shades, designed to help you understand the applicable range and installation requirements for these types of window coverings.
Installation Size

Extension Brackets Size

If the window frame or handle protrudes and affects the installation, you can use extension brackets to provide extra depth for smooth installation.
Extension brackets are not available for inside mounts.
Stack Height When Shades Are Fully Raised

When fully raised, Roman shades typically have a visible stack at the top measuring approximately 10 ½ inches. However, this stacked height may vary slightly depending on the overall height of the shades.
Please note that this stack will cover part of the window, which may slightly reduce the visible glass area when the shades is fully open.
Valance and Fabric Size Discrepancy

The valance and fabric of Roman shades are almost perfectly aligned, meaning that the valance and the main fabric of the shade visually blend together, creating a neat and aesthetically pleasing look. The seamless integration of the valance and fabric effectively reduces light leakage from the top or sides of the shade, providing enhanced privacy and excellent light-blocking performance.
